The University of Granada (UGR) has obtained two million euros in funding for ten research consolidation projects, as part of the latest call from the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities. This initiative aims to strengthen the scientific careers of researchers with outstanding track records, enabling them to lead their own research lines and teams.
The funded projects encompass various fields, including health sciences, artificial intelligence, and sustainable technologies. Notably, one project focuses on developing new treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, while another aims to improve energy efficiency in urban environments through innovative materials.
This funding reinforces the UGR’s commitment to research excellence and its role as a leading institution in scientific innovation. The university continues to attract significant national and international resources, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and societal development.
